About the Founder

Hey! My name is Lashay Lewis and I'm the founder of Authority Plug. I got my start building affiliate websites back in 2014. Through that time I was able to teach myself content strategy. Those self-taught skills then led me to work across several agencies and in-house companies as a content strategist.

During my time in these different companies I learned the right (and wrong) way to run an effective content marketing program. I consistently seen the struggles that companies were having and how these agencies were not addressing the real problems that content teams face.

After 11 years of working in-house and across agencies, in 2023 I decided to step out and take my skills and learnings to the open market.

Since then I've been able to help dozens of SaaS companies create profitable content marketing strategies and hundreds of marketers improve on their content strategy skills.

My voice went unheard for years. My goal is to give content marketers who are still in-house a voice and most importantly, finally give content marketers a seat at the revenue table.
